UWLA Hosts
2018 Roger J. Traynor's California Moot Court Competition
UWLA is proud to have hosted this years Roger J Traynor California Moot Court Competition.The Roger J. Traynor California Appellate Moot Court Competition is a nationally recognized appellate moot court competition. The California Young Lawyers Association of the State Bar of California developed and conducted the competition for nearly 30 years, and the Moot is now jointly sponsored by the Witkin Legal Institute and The Rutter Group.
In 2017, Professor Glassman’s UWLA Moot Court Team of Knarik Boyadzhyan and Stephanie Trice won the Roger J. Traynor award for Best Oral Argument. This year, Empire College School of Law won the Roger J. Traynor award for Best Oral Argument.
