Prof. Stephanie V. Trice

Stephanie V. Trice is an adjunct professor and intellectual property attorney whose practice focuses on trademark, copyright, and brand protection matters. She counsels clients ranging from individual innovators and entrepreneurs to startups and multinational corporations on the acquisition, protection, enforcement, and commercialization of intellectual property rights, including global trademark portfolio management, trademark clearance and prosecution, copyright protection, online brand enforcement, and domain name disputes.

Her work spans both counseling and dispute resolution, helping clients protect, enforce, and maximize the value of their intellectual property assets. She represents clients in trademark and copyright disputes before federal courts and administrative agencies and advises individuals and businesses across a broad range of industries, including, but not limited to, technology, financial services, retail, fashion, consumer products, food and beverage, and medical devices.

Professor Trice earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law in 2017 and her Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership, from Mount Saint Mary's University in 2022, where she was inducted into Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business.

Professor Trice teaches intellectual property law, ethics and inclusive excellence, business strategy, and other related subjects at both the law school and graduate business levels. Her scholarship and teaching interests focus on the intersection of intellectual property, branding, technology, and business strategy. Through her work in both academia and practice, she is committed to preparing future lawyers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to protect and leverage intellectual property as a strategic business asset.
