Prof. Ayda Mirafshar, Esq.

Ayda Mirafshar, Esq., is a Plaintiffs’ civil litigation attorney whose practice focuses on personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, dog bites, and habitability claims. Known for her tenacious advocacy, meticulous case preparation, and commitment to her clients, Professor Mirafshar has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of injured individuals and their families. She has earned consecutive selections to Super Lawyers® Rising Stars, a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys in California.

Professor Mirafshar earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles before attending the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude as the speaking Salutatorian of her class. She subsequently passed the California Bar Examination on her first attempt and is licensed to practice law in California and is also admitted to practice in federal court.

Returning to her alma mater as a Professor of Law, Professor Mirafshar teaches Legal Writing, Advanced Legal Writing, Legal Research and Writing, and MBE Review. Drawing upon her academic accomplishments and experience as a practicing civil litigator, she brings practical insight and academic rigor to the classroom.
