Biography: Mellissa Goodger is an accomplished higher education and administrative professional with more than 18 years of experience in administration, program management, executive support, operations, communications, and organizational leadership. Throughout her career, she has developed a reputation as a strategic, resourceful, and solutions-oriented professional who can navigate complex environments, manage competing priorities, and bring people and projects together to achieve organizational goals. Mellissa currently serves as Director of Administration at the University of West Los Angeles (UWLA), where she provides administrative and operational leadership in support of university priorities and executive leadership. Her responsibilities span cross-departmental initiatives, strategic and executive projects, campus operations, institutional events, vendor coordination, and special projects. She serves as a central point of coordination among university leadership, departments, vendors, external partners, and other stakeholders, frequently taking on complex challenges that extend beyond traditional administrative functions. Outside of her professional career, Mellissa enjoys reading and learning fascinating facts about life and the world around us, particularly topics related to child advocacy and mental health. She also enjoys volunteering and giving her time to help others. Above all, she values spending quality time with her family, which remains one of the most meaningful parts of her life.
