		Biography: Professor Barrett teaches Professional Responsibility, Business Organizations, and Civil Procedure.  He has been a member of the State Bar of California's Business Law Section Education Committee, and is a former Chair of the State Bar's Standing Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct (COPRAC).   He has practiced litigation and business law in Los Angeles at Latham & Watkins, Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine, Morgan Lewis & Bockius, and his own firm.  He graduated from Georgetown University summa cum laude in 1976, and obtained a combined Juris Doctor/Master of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown's Law and Foreign Service Schools, serving on the Georgetown Law Journal, and graduating in 1980.
